Although the previous day's rains left the morning a little damp and cold, the sun eventually broke through and warmed things up for derby participants. Unfortunately, they were all fishing from behind as the day's longest trout was caught on the first cast of the morning. Dan G., the 2016 winner, hauled in a 19.5 inch rainbow to seal the win.
